WILMINGTON MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Members of the Wilmington Middle School Community,
I am pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the search for the assistant principal of Wilmington Middle School. It is my pleasure to share that Mr. Craig Murray has accepted my offer to join Wilmington Middle School as an assistant principal.
Mr. Murray brings over 20 years of experience in education, including 15 years in administrative roles in the districts of Stoneham, Reading, and most recently, North Andover. He also has over five years of classroom experience, having taught English and special education in both public and private school settings.
Throughout his career, Mr. Murray has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering inclusive, student- centered learning environments. His leadership has focused on strengthening school culture, aligning school- wide vision, and ensuring strong partnerships among students, staff, and caregivers. He has effectively used data to identify and support at-risk students, while leading staff in targeted efforts to address learning gaps and promote equity.
At the heart of Mr. Murray’s work is a dedication to building relationships and creating a culture of trust, equity for students, clear communication, and mutual respect. His presence will be a tremendous asset to our school community, and we are excited to welcome him to Wilmington Middle School.
Mr. Murray holds a Master of Education degree In Psychological Studies from Cambridge College, Cambridge, MA, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communications from Salve Regina University, Newport, RI. In addition, Mr. Murray completed the Cambridge College School of Educational Leadership program.
